Jocelyn Lightfoot is a professional French Horn Player living and working in London, United Kingdom.
For the 2010-2011 season Jocelyn was solo horn with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra in Norway. She is now back in London pursuing her freelance career.
Jocelyn regularly plays for many leading orchestras and ensembles including the Philharmonia, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the London Chamber Orchestra. Her experience ranges from guest principal to playing within the section and she has trialed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hallé. She is also a member of the renowned horn quartet, Horns Aloud.
Her past teachers include Elizabeth Davis, Timothy Jackson, Andrew Clark, Michael Thompson and Richard Watkins.
In 2004 Jocelyn was awarded the Dennis Brain Prize for Horn.
